KUBIK 500 is a DC-AC power inverter with a pure sine wave output designed for stand-alone applications, that is, for systems supplied by batteries, where the traditional 230VAC power grid is not available. A main innovative feature of KUBIK 500 is that it allows the user to connect together modular power systems. That is, when in one system the total power requirements of the loads increase during the time, up to higher amounts than the maximum permitted values by one inverter, there is the possibility to connect in parallel more KUBIK 500 . All together they will increase the total available power in the system. That is possible thanks to a revolutionary “Master-Slave” connection and control system for which one inverter, the “Master”, generates a reference sine-wave signal and all the others, the “Slaves”, will synchronize with the Master in order to generate a perfect sine wave signal. Therefore the total power output will be multiple of the one produced by a single inverter, up to a maximum of 3000VA total. These features are guaranteed and monitored continuosly by one powerful microprocessor, inside every inverter, that operates also to start-up possible electronic protections. The modularity of KUBIK 500 solves, once for all, the recurrent problem faced by the user, who is forced to replace the originary inverter in case of an update of the total power output in the system. For example, because of the progressive increase of power consumption by the households appliances. KUBIK 500 is equipped with a series of jumpers which allow to set up many operating modes according with the specific requirements of a system. Moreover, KUBIK 500 is provided with two separated AC power outputs that allow the user to run the inverter in a “Master” or “Slave” operating mode, according with the system configuration. Therefore the user can connect in parallel a maximum permissible number of six home inverters, with the possibility to set the output with the desired voltage (from 10 up to 230VAC) and frequency (50 or 60Hz). With KUBIK 500 are available also the functions “soft start” (home ramp output power-up with settable rising time) and “auto off” that is, the automatic switch-off of the inverter in absence of power absorbpion by the loads, designed just to avoid useless power consumption in the system by the inverter itself. KUBIK 500 has a command button and two indication LEDs which clearly show the state of operation of the inverter. Moreover, it is possible to connect outside from the inverter one remote display (maximum distance 5m) that allows to: view the status of the LEDs, switch-on and switch-off the inverter. Every operating mode of the inverter is easy to be set up just inserting the proper jumper in the dedicated grid-finger programming connector. KUBIK 500 is provided with one output for the display/programmer Maestro (accessory device) that allows to monitor and modify a high amount of operating parameters of the inverter such as: minimum input DC voltage for the auto switch-off, set up of one timer for the automatic switch-on and switch-off, view of the data history like kWh generated during the day and time of operation of the inverter.
