Soluxe Solaris Combination Boiler System Boiler Open Vented Boiler Combi boilers are ideally suited todomestic environments. They provide heating and instant hot water directly from the mains water inlet, on demand, thereby eliminating the need for a space-consuming waterstorage tank. System boilers work on the principle of stored hot water. Many of the major individual components of the heating and hot water system are built-in and the boiler includes an expansion vessel so there is no requirement for either a second feed or expansion tank in the loft. Open vented systems are fed from a feed and expansion tank located in the loft, which keeps the system topped up and also takes up any expansion of water in the system.
