Funny word. Important meaning. Noun. ~ Ergonomics derives from two Greek words: ergon, meaning work, and nomoi, meaning natural laws, to create a word that means the science of work and a person’s relationship to that work. Put simply, ergonomics is the science of understanding how people and things interact, and the design of equipment to be comfortable and easy to use. 6 7

Goodbye, Pins & Needles Seat-Depth Adjustment Weight-Assisted Tilt Tension [ S TA N DA R D] Lively takes the tension out of your day and puts it to use as the resistance you feel when leaning back in the chair. The tension can be adjusted to accommodate users of different types and sizes and for different work styles. [ OPTIONAL] Lively features a 2-inch sliding seat and waterfall seat edge design to reduce the pressure behind the knees.
