Carl Haver and Eduard Boecker foun-ded the company in Hohenlimburg.•mechanization of wire weaving looms•1897 company relocated to Oelde/ Westphalia•recommencement and extension of the product range with wire ties for open paper and jute bags used in the cement industry 1938–1962 High performance products andmachines are developed.•standardisation of woven wire cloth•manufacture of the finest woven wirecloth in the world: 540 Mesh with 45,000 openings per cm•first BBC impeller type packer for fil-ling of cement 1988–2007 The technological leadership is streng-thened and developed.•set-up and expansion of the Architectural Wire Cloth Product Line since the early 90’s•Quality Management System certi-fied according to DIN EN ISO 9001-2000 allows reliable statements on quality, environmental and safety related questions and documents ourgoal to meet our customer require- ments•expansion of the distribution networkin South America and Asia•continuous technology development in order to increase product quality, productivity and product range 1913–1937 First overseas contacts start and extend export activities.•acquisition of licences for the con-struction of weaving looms, packing and screening machines•1925 foundation of the Machinery Division and manufacturing of the first packing machine•further development and design of mechanical looms 1963–1987 Mechanical development and compa- ny expansion.•set up of subsidiary companies and joint ventures•set up of world-wide export in plant engineering •1980 delivery of Stainless Steel Wire Cloth (DOKAWELL) for the aviary at the Zoo Hellabrunn near Munich
