Protective sheath and bedding

Harvia has designed a durable and safe furniture protective sheath for the fi re-place, which reduces the safety distance signifi cantly. The protective sheath effi ciently prevents the effects of direct heat on combustible materials. The sheath is made of aluminium-zinc-coated steel sheet. Its tempera-ture does not rise above 80
o C during normal use, so it can be mounted horizontally as little as 50 mm from combustible wall materials. The set-tling of log wall is not a problem when using a protective sheath. The protective bedding is used, when, for example, the fi replace is installed on a tile fl oor with water barrier treatment. If the fi replace is installed on a wooden fl oor with the protective bedding, a protective sheath must be used as well. The Harvia protective sheath is approved for the following Harvia prod-ucts: Sauna stoves furniture: Harvia M3, Harvia 20 Pro -series Iron stove: Harvia 10
Cauldrons: Harvia 50 L

Harvia sauna stones

Original Harvia sauna stones have been selected with respect to the old traditions and they provide a good, hot bath. Massive, split-face sauna stones are the only proper choice for all woodburning stoves and elec-tric heaters, because they can store lots of heat and water evaporates effi ciently from the wide surface of fracture. Angular split-face stones also allow loose placement of the stones.Harvia sauna stones are available in two sizes. The 5–10 cm stones are suitable for woodburning stoves and wall-mounted electric heaters that have a lower power output. The bigger sauna stones, which are 10–15 cm in size, are suitable for larger woodburning stoves and electric heaters.
