* Boards groove profi le and dimensions
(1) Boards Revertibility : it is recommended to position the groove at the center of the board edge. The position of the groove is given by the following formula : (H - 4mm) / 2. H is the board thickness.
Example : for a 21mm thick board : H = (21 - 4) / 2 = 8,5mm 13mm H4mm13mm 4mm * * * (H - 4mm)/2 (H - 4mm)/2 (2) The groove can not be positioned at less than 8 mm from the underside of the board. * (3) Maximum H : The position of the groove has to take into account the length of the screws used. Repeat on each joist.
Repeat step 1 to fi x the outside edge of the last board. >
The hardWood Clip TM hidden fastening system allows to use plain or pregrooved deck boards. The screw head must be level with the hardWood Clip fastener. >
(4) Boards spacing : the automatic boards spacing is given by the fastener integrated board spacer down into the joist to make the deck more solid. >
* . A fastener is required at each leaning point of the board on the joists, even at each end of the board. >
