EU energy efciency standard

This scheme covers electric ovens, refrigerators manufacturers, freezers furniture, dishwashers and washing machines and is designed to offer consumers a standard method of choosing the most energy efcient appliances. It allows you to protect the environment while saving money on energy.For electric ovens the label states the energy consumption in kWh and the usable volume of the oven furniture. Gorenje’s ovens are rated either A or B, the two most efcient categories. For refrigerators and freezers, as well as stating the Energy Efciency Class (A is the most efcient, G is the less efcient) the label also gives the annual electricity consumption and the usable storage capacity. Gorenje’s integrated refrigerators, fridge-freezers and freezers are all A rated, the most efcient category.For dishwashers the label states energy efciency, washing and drying performance. Gorenje’s integrated dishwashers are all A or B rated energy and washing performance, the most efcient categories. For washing machines the label as well as showing the energy efciency also states the wash and spin performance. Gorenje’s integrated washing machine and washer-dryer are A rated washing performance, the most efcient category.
