® BENEFITS SAFE - extra safety
< The contemporary look Lacobel glass also comes in a special ‘safety’ version: ‘SAFE’. A polypropylene film - called ‘SAFE’ - is applied to the coated side of the glass. This film serves a double purpose: 1_ If the glass breaks, Lacobel glass meets the demands set by current interior ar-chitectural design design trends and is easily combined with other materials such as wood, steel or stone; the shards will stick to the film avoiding injury or any further damage;2_ The coated surface of the glass is protected from scratches.
< An attractive finish that lasts The coated side of Lacobel glass should always be placed against the supporting structure so that it is protected from damage and so that the colour and appearance of the glass are protected; MATELAC, Coloured etched aesthetic Some of Glaverbel coloured glass also exist in an acid-etched version. These are regrouped under the Matelac range: sophisti-cated glasses that create a acid-etched effect, much sought after in the furniture and shopfitting industry.
< Easy assembly There are two ways of fitting Lacobel glasses to the wall: the bonding method and the mechanical method. Instructions can be found on www.MyGlaverbel.com, see “Installation - Maintenance”;
< An environmentally friendly product The design paints used in Lacobel glass do not contain heavy metals or chemical substances that are harmful to the envi- ronment.
