This is possible by using glasses with different thicknesses to achieve average acoustic insulation of 33 to 37 dB. For particularly bothersome noise levels, it is best to use a

Thermobel Stopray double glazing in which one of the glasses is Stratophone (laminated glazing with a PVB acous-
tic interlayer)(fig. 6).

Enhanced safety:

passive safety for preventing injury (EN12600):
depending on the type of application, Thermobel Stopray glazing can be supplied with one or two tough-ened glasses (mechanical strength is five times higher than that of normal glass – level 1 C). Some applications require laminated glass (level 1B1 or 2B2).•
active safety:
burglar-resistant glasses (EN 356 – level P1A to P5A, P6B to P8B). Depending on the type of protection desired, a laminated glass ideal for the level of protection desired will be incorporated into the insulating glazing (fig. 7). fig. 7 - Enhanced safety
