Getz has been pleased to be able to be appointed as the exclusive distributor for the entrance matting range in Singapore. Mr Peter O'sullivan, one of the successors of the business and also the Sales Director, was in town to give our sales team an introduction on the technical aspects of the products. Manufactured from high quality vinyl in convenient roll format, Frontrunner is a complementary entrance flooring System that is extremely hardwearing while retaining Getz Participtes in BEX Getz recently participated in BEX-ASIA trade exhibition from 13th to 15th September 2010. It was a highly successful event reaching out to industry players in the building and construction industry. With new products like Moz aluminum sheet panels and Kriska chains, our booth was definitely one of the most colourful and brightly decorated in BEX 2010. Many who visited our booth were very impressed with the products that Getz had on display. Here are some photos for viewing pleasure. Founded in Oakland, California, Moz Designs began manufacturing mtal furniture and fixtures for commercial and residential interiors. Brothers and company founders Murray and Tripp Sandford started building stand alone furniture in Murray's garage. Incidentally, "Moz" was Murray's childhood nickname. MOZ metals + Architectural products from MOZ Designs USA tied up with Getz Bros. & Co. (Singapore) Pte. Ltd to open the Asian market with the amazing product. Moz metals was first introduced in the Bex Asia 2010 exhibition held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore 13th to 15th September. It was a successful exhibition with numerous inquiries from Architects and Designers from local and international corporations. Featuered in this issue is our Armstrong vinyl flooring range, which has just been certified with the Singapore Green Mark Label. Armstrong Linol鴩um As a founding sponsor and active participant in the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), Armstrong recognizes the importance of sustainable design. In fact, Armstrong's hritage of sustainability begun over a century ago where we began to recycle cork and most recently, our LEED-EB Platinum Certified corporate headquarters. LEED Crdits, ECOSCORECARD & the Singapore Green Mark Label Armstrong's Linol驩um range qualifies for the internationally recognized LEED Crdits for EQ 4.3, MR 4.0 and MR 6.0. To further support the green initiative, Armstrong has just gotten its Linolum range of flooring approved for the Singapore Green Mark Label, a local scheme that awards environmentally friendly products with eco-labels. SMART SAMPLE PROGRAMME Armstrong's constantly aims to reduce the impact that our marketing and advertising have on the environment. From the use of FSC paper and recycled content to our sustainable sample reuse programmes, Armstrong has always focused on creating ways to reduce wastage. Other examples include using electronic versions of ail literature pi驨ces for viewing and downloading on the Armstrong website, and also placing brochures and data information on CD other than print versions. The Armstrong website is also one of the most comprehensive website in the industry. GREEN BUILDING LEED DELIVERS IMPACTS I RESULTS Mr. Tripp Sandford, Executive vice Prsident of Moz Design, gave detailed information on the Moz panels and its versatile applications in diffrent markets It was a fruitful 3-day visit during which Mr. Tripp together with Mr. Andrew Ng, our Managing Director, and our sales and marketing staff visited some well known Architectural and Design Companies including Ong & Ong, Bent Severin, KKS International, HOK and Kingsmen.
