Hand Coloured Leather Intense workmanship and attention to detail are the hallmarks of our Heirloom collection. In particular, the colouring of leather by hand involves exceptional skill and is undertaken only by a handful of highly skilled antiquers. The dyes are mixed and gently massaged into the leather which is then allowed to dry. This process is repeated at least six times to ensure a beautifully-toned patina and an authentic antiqued appearance.
