Un rifiuto delle forme squadrate e razionali che hanno dominato il design dell’arredamento prima dell’avvento di Charles e Ray Eames eVerner Panteon, la poltrona Divina riprende delle forme morbide e contorni scultorei per mimare la forma adagiata del corpo umano.L’oggetto fornisce un semplice ripiano per la tecnologia portatile che oggi sembra seguirci ovunque. Proprio come gli spazi all’interno dellenostre case, possono essere diventati meno definiti, lo spazio dedicato al lavoro muta in spazio per il tempo libero, il design di Divina,fluida nella forma e nella funzione, è pensato per accomodare sia un utilizzatore passivo che uno piu’attivo.Arejection of the ‘rational square boxes’that dominated furniture design before the advent of Charles and Ray Eames and Verner Panton,the Divina armchair uses soft, sculptural contours to mimic the reposing form of the human body. The furniture provide a simple‘tabletop’for the portable technology that now seems to follow us everywhere.
