• Place the slates upwards • Fasten the slates and accessories with alu-zinc nails (+/- 28 mm) • Cut the slates using zinc shears FINISHED WALL CLADDING : • Place the battens vertically (distance between the battens 159 mm for Metal Slate’20, 230 mm for Metal Slate ’30, 283 mm for Metal Slate ’40) >

• Underside : Place the Slate Profile-J and start with a Start Slate as shown in fig. 1 • Side and top side : Place Slate Pofile-J as shown in fig. 1 • Edges : use Slate Cover Flashing mini to finish >

FINISHING ROOFING: • >
Slate Profile-J Place the slates onto an underground made of natural wood to which a roofmembrane is attached • Start by placing the accessories (Slate Eave Aprons, Slate Barge Board Covers, SlateValley if necessary) >
Barge board cover • Install a Slate Eave Apron as shown in fig. 2 and start with a Start Slate >

• Install a Slate Barge Board Cover with Slate Profile-J into the smooth surfaceagainst the sharp edge as in fig. 3 and 4 (fasten the Slate Profile-J onto the Slate
Barge Board Cover) >
Slate Profile-J • Install a Slate Valley with Slate Profile-J against the sharp edge as in fig. 5 (fastenthe Slate Profile-J onto the Slate Barge Board Cover) • Install the slates upwards >
