PVD PLUS is born: a new technology that combines natural colour tones with superior resistance. As one of the worlds leading designers of door furniture, Entra S.P.A. has been at the forefront of Technology inthe development of PVD coatings (Physical Vapour Deposition), a technology which is widely used in the aero- space industry. The process includes the deposition of zircon and titanium atoms onto the surfaces of the prod-ucts which need to be protected. This gives the product its unique characteristic of strength, resistance and makes them impervious to external pollutants or potentially damaging surface deposits. Continuous improve- ments then led to the introduction of “PVD PLUS”: an even stronger and more resistant coating which not only makes this product treatment environmentally friendly but in addition makes the handle entirely non-allergenic.
