It’s a brand for all those items that have demanded that extra something, testifying to the Company’s ability to keep alive local craft skills and know-how by making them part of an advanced technology manufacturing process. They may well be skills stolen from other industrial sectors, giving rise to exciting work with brand names outside the furniture business. Names like Swarovski, for example, when the shimmering seduction of haute couture came to the furniture world. Edra special is our Brand for products that have required special inventiveness and tireless research in several areas. To produce them, caution was thrown to the winds, technical limitations brushed aside. The result has been marvels that have lit up the mo - notonous furniture landscape. Together Edra special products are a compendium of rare crafts skills: aluminium welding, bespoke tailoring applied to new textile technology, ancient weaving skills like the art of tapestry furniture making.
