DATA SHEET E-Releasable Rubber-Backed Carpet Adhesive Aggressive tack to securly bond rubber back carpet tile Permanent or releasable type installations Easy to trowel and easy clean up No mixing required CRI Green Label Plus Certified Low VOC formula meets SCAQMD (South Coast Air Quality Management District Rule 1168) E-Releasable Adhesive has been specifically designed to provide both permanent and releasable bonds for rubber-backed carpet tile. Its unique formulation has been developed to provide a very aggressive bond to rubber-backed carpet tile where traditional adhesives will not work. E-Releasable Adhesive can be installed into wet adhesive for permanent bonding and allowed to dry to its tacky phase for releasable installations. E-Releasable Adhesive can also be used in fast-track construction practices where the moisture vapor emission rates (MVERs) are less than 8 lbs. (3,63 kg) (ASTM F1869) and relative humidity (RH) 90% (ASTM F2170) respectively, and show diminishing results over time. Do not install over substrates containing asbestos For interior installations only Do not apply over exisiting adhesive residue Not recommended for PVC backed carpet tile or broadloom Use only when substrate temperature is between 50˚F and 90˚F (10˚C and 32˚C)

E-Releasable USES For the installation of rubber-backed carpet tile (not recommended for polyvinyl chloride [PVC] - backed carpet tile and broadloom) SUITABLE SUBSTRATES Exterior-grade plywood and other approved wood underlayments Concrete and properly prepared cement terrazzo Embossing levelers applied over existing properly prepared and fully bonded ceramic tile and sheet vinyl SURFACE PREP All substrates must be clean, structurally sound, dry, solid and stable.
