Standard NF P90-308 was created in order to prevent children under the age of 5 from accidentally falling into swimming garden pools. This French standard (which will probably become a European standard over the next few years) applies both to indoor and to outdoor pools. POOLONPOOLUP has been designed to comply with this standard: - A person weighing 80 kg can cross the cover (both lengthways and widthways) to save a child of 20 kg. - A child of 20 kg jumps on the cover. The maximum vertical depth is 40 cm and the maximum horizontal depth 12 cm. - A 50 kg object falls from a height of 50 cm: the cover is not damaged. |
