Man is not built to sit without moving. The Tumbly promotes an active position where an ordinary chair furniture or stool furniture allows the user to “collapse” while seated. The active position prevents wear of the spine. Therefore, the Tumbly prevents problems with the neck and back. Additionally, the straight position of the back makes it easier to breathe.

In the bottom of the Tumbly there is a steel counterweight which makes the vivid stool always come to a standstill with the seat at the top. The counterweight also provides a very stable Tumbly while seating.
