| | | We know that small healthcare institutions have many potential sources of microbiological contamination, bacteria spread unless stringent controls are in place. Unfortunately, the importance of the laundry in fighting infections is often underestimated even in large healthcare institutions (with team of doctors especially trained on cross infections), in small healthcare institutions, where nobody is in charge of healthcare-care related infections, no one is able to define if the linen is « hygienically clean » free of bacteria or pathogens! It is why Danube R & D department worked for the last several years on a small barrier washer especially designed for small institutions, 100/180 kg to be processed per day (design was patented a couple of years ago).
