Our unique bi-color yarns are extruded specifically for each of our designs. These yarns are the foundation for how we express color. Each individual strand can be composed of two contrasting colors. Experimenting with the proportions of light and dark within a weaving construction is a deliberate and exacting process. The outcome is never a one note color but more of a complex tone or shade. In 2000, Sandy Chilewich introduced her signature woven vinyl fabrics to the market with a collection of placemats and floor mats.
