| | | InduForce units are available in three types: IF 2, IF 3 and IF 4. The types differ in unit width and number of rustic fans. By combining the different types, units can be configured to fit any size of doorway in increments of 55 cm. As a standard the units are supplied with a water heater coil (1 row). The maximum operating pressure is 8 bars at 175°C*. Higher temperatures and pressures are available upon request. For extra heating, they can also be produced with a 2 or 3 row water coil or without coil enabling the unit to run on an ambient only setting. Explosion reduced commercial air curtains are also available on request. Please consult Biddle in case of different temperatures. | | |

| | | An air curtain should be selected such that it has sufficient capacity to heat up the cold entering air to a comfortable temperature. Additionally, the unit should be able to screen off the entire doorway. The selection of an appropriate air curtain depends on the door height and width and the amount of incoming cold air through ventilation. The best position for an air curtain is horizontally above the door. The maximum door height is 4 - 5 meter. In this case it is also possible to position the air curtain vertically next to the door. If the air curtain is installed at one side of the door, the max. door width is 4 meter. With an air curtain on both sides, door widths up to 6 meters are attainable. Also in unfavourable situations, an air curtain on both sides can be a good solution. | | |
