Specifications
Control and operation Casing
The casing of the free-hanging unit is made of inc-plated sheet steel, extra strengthened to minimise vibration, and it has an inspection
design panel in the bottom.
The plastic air inlet
architectural grilles have a perforated inc-plated steel insert. The unit is as
standard available in the following colours: a combination of white (RAL 9010)
and greyish white (RAL 9002), and in aluminium colour (RAL 9006). With the first
option, the inlet plates and the casing are white, and the air inlet grille greyish white.
With the second option, both the air inlet grille and the casing come in aluminium
colour. Other RAL colours are available on request. The touch pad control panel for a unitwith electric
heater has, besides the
three buttons for controlling the fan
speed, two additional buttons to operate
the electric element. The controller is
connected to the interface with a low-
voltage cable, which has RJII plugs fitted.
This type of cable is also used to inter-
connect multiple units. The interface
translates the signals to a freely adjustable tapped transformer. This
transformer is preset to three values,
but the rotational speed can be changed
by selecting other tappings. >
Motor / fan assembl
Two or more (depending on type) dual-inlet, vibration-free centrifugal
home fans. Each fan
is driven by a suspended rotor motor on ball bearings. The fan casing and the impeller
are made of inc coated plate steel. The motor is manufactured according to EN 60-335-1, protection class IP44 (CITY S) or IP54 (CITY M/L), and insulation class F.
The motors are, as a standard, fi tted with thermal contacts. These thermal contacts
will break the circuit of the motor when the maximum permissible motor temperature
is exceeded. >
Connections
Hot-water heated units are supplied with
a pre-fi tted mains cable with an earthed
plug (approx. 2 m long cable). Connection
for controls hot-water are at the top of
the unit, so the access panel does not
need to be removed during installation.
The mains cable to the electrically
heated units must be connected within
the units. The top of the unit has a tension
sleeve for the cable to pass through the
feeder cable. There is a terminal strip
inside the unit. >
LPHW Heating coil
The 2-row heating coil is made up of 3/8 copper pipes and aluminium fins. The water
supply connections are G1 female thread. The test pressure is 30 bars and the operating pressure is 16 bars max. at 120 C. >
Electric heating coil
The electric heating coil is composed of aluminium fins. The coil is controlled by the
electronic control unit, and is fitted with overload protection. When the unit is switched
off, the fans will continue to rotate until the fins have cooled off sufficiently. >
