Introduction
As already been explained, the Polyscreen® fabric brings a very important technical component that sets it apart from other
architectural fabrics in solar protection. Using this technical component a basis for differentiation, the potential client normally requests from any of our Polyscreen® shades, detailed information that highlights the characteristics of each model and the advantages of their properties. For this reason, we must be familiarized with the concepts summarized in

From this group of data included in Table 1, there are common parameters of characterization for all type of technical fabrics, such weight, thickness, composition... However, in the case of the Polyscreen® , we must deal with additional information that is not normally associated with the rest of the fabrics, and which have acquired great importance from the commercial point of view (i.e. – Openness Factor or Flame Retardant) To continue, we present an introduction of the most significant parameters related to the Polyscreen® fabric for the purpose of defining concepts and establishing the correct criteria to commercial questions. 2.- Physical and Mechanical Properties 2.1. Composition Vertisol has available eight shades of Polyscreen® (314, 320, 350, 351, 352, 353 550 and 650) composed of PVC and High Tenacity Polyester (later referred as HT PES), in the percentages expressed in Table 2. >
