New support for 255 Colors New ARC+ Template and Definitions
New color palette of 255 colors, which is fully compatible with other common design solutions. New concept of “Full Template” which includes, in addition to the preferences (layers, styles,) also the preferred colors, multiple print configurations and the geometric data, from the original file. Preferred colors saved in every file, for direct access to the user selection. New possibility to import printer definitions from one ARC+ file to another. New options for converting colors in files from and to older versions of ARC+ (15 to 255 colors and 255 to 15 colors). New option to import Walls and End Conditions definitions from external libraries of walls into the new library, which may include now up to 255 colors. >
New Colors Preferences New User Preferences
New options for configuration:Background colors for the different modes are fully customizable. The colors of the snap markers, of the grid, of the axis and the origin point can be customized, as well the preferred colors for selection and highlight entities. New User Preferences for the configuration of the mouse in two work modes: Dynamic Snap ON and OFF, with a possibility to use either the first or the second button of the mouse for Snap. New options for Polar Constraints, in addition to the orthogonal mode, with possibility to use predefined angles which are multiple of 5°, 45°, 90°, Horizontal, Vertical and to add user defined angles. >
New ARC+ Database Format
New content has been added to the ARC+ file in the second edition of ARC+, which protects it from being read by older versions! New optional work mode with Step Constraint, limiting the length of the rubber line, in a given direction, to a full number of increments, corresponding to the current Step defined by the user. Perfect compatibility with the database of older versions is available by new import and export file options, offering full control on the colors conversion preferences. >
