Drive Unit & Control System

• The RapidRoll* 3000 is equipped with Albany Door Systems' AllStardrive system. The PLC control system can be programmed to open the door at fast speeds up to 80" per second. Top and bottom limits can quickly be adjusted from the control panel.

• The AllStar" drive system features soft-start / soft-stop technology, which eliminates jarring during door opening and closing resulting in less wear on the motor and components.

Safety Features

• Albany Door Systems' exclusive Contactless Safety Edge* reverses the door if an object is in the door path. Through-beam photocells positioned in the panel guides travel 5" ahead of the bottom edge during dos ry enabling the photocells to detect objects anywhere in the full height of the opening. The door panel reverses immediately upon detection of an object before the bottom edge rubber profile can contact it.
