Fastening KerAion K8 with visible clamp fastening

Z-33.1-18 System description The KerAion facade panels are safely fixed on the substructureby means of the stainless steel clamps of the clamp system K8. To prevent clattering and constraining forces in the case of alter- nating wind loads, the facade panels are installed on the sub- structure in a nonrigid way.The different clamp variations can be supplied in bright stainless steel or – matched to the panel design – also completely or partially powder-coated according to your wishes. For the nonrigid installation of our KerAion panels we recommend our foamed pieces, art. no. 347 (see page 49), or so-called MS polymers.
KerAion Important: The use of silicone caoutchoucs must be absolutely avoided, because silicone fluids segregate and effect sticky surfaces on which dirt adheres. Therefore, only use the system components mentioned (foamed piece, EPDM rubber profile, neoprene rub- ber washer) and pointing, bonding and sealing materials recommended by us. We will be pleased to inform you in detail. The usual final cleaning after completion of the construction works is still required.
