Fastening
Mounting instructions for KeraTwin K12 (clasp fastening)
Substructure
The mounting of the substructure has to be carried out according
to project-specific, static calculation.
Important: The profile butt joint of the vertical bearing profiles must not be behind a panel! See standard technical detail draw­ings.
Mounting of the KeraTwin architectural panels
7. Three clasps (silver) and one clasp (black) are inserted into the T-grooves on the back of the KeraTwin panel as shown in the sketch (see Fig. 4).
8. Now the panel can be hung in the pre-mounted support­ing rails and aligned in horizontal direction.
The mounting of the supporting rails is carried out with spe­cial distance jigs according to the vertical grid of the panels.
For further information, see the standard technical details of the system K12 which we will make available to you upon request.
The distance jigs are aligned horizontally and clamped to the vertical bearing profiles (see Fig. 1).

The supporting rail (art. no. 430) is inserted into the first
sparing (side with only two sparings) of the distance jig, pressed to the vertical profiles, drilled and fastened with fastening means approved by the construction supervising authority (see Fig. 2).

The supporting rail (art. no. 430) is inserted into the second
sparing of the distance jig, pressed to the vertical profiles, drilled and fastened with fastening means approved by the construction supervising authority (see Fig. 3).

The distance jigs are taken out, turned by 180°, inserted
with the first sparing into the second, already mounted supporting rail (art. no. 430) and clamped to the vertical bearing profiles.

The supporting rails (art. no. 430) are inserted into the
sparings of the distance jig lying in the grid distance, pressed to the vertical profiles, drilled and fastened with fastening means approved by the construction supervising authority.
6. At the end of a vertical bearing profile, the supporting rail (art. no. 430) must be mounted as described under item 2 by turning the distance jig by 180°.
