As “board format”, the system KeraTwin K12 was specially developed for the quick and simple, invisible fastening of facades of new buildings and renovation projects. The system KeraTwin K12 is delivered completely to the construction site ex works. Separate deliveries of ceramics and substructures are possible if agreed in advance.

KeraTwin System description The facade panels KeraTwin K12 have T-grooves on the back. Atleast 4 symmetrically arranged clasps per panel are inserted in these T-grooves. By means of the clasps, the KeraTwin K12 panel is hung in the horizontal supporting rails mounted in the grid, which in turn are mounted on a commercially available vertical base construction by using the distance jigs (see page 37). This horizontal supporting rail and the clasps are integral parts of the system KeraTwin K12. Special springs integrated in the clasps serve for a nonrigid installation on the substructure. Each panel is secured against side moving by the fixed point clasp (painted black).
Important: The use of silicone caoutchoucs must be absolutely avoided, because silicone fluids segregate and effect sticky surfaces on which dirt adheres. Therefore, only use the system components mentioned (foamed piece, EPDM rubber profile, neoprene rub- ber washer) and pointing, bonding and sealing materials recommended by us. We will be pleased to inform you in detail. The usual final cleaning after completion of the construction works is still required.
