Mounting instructions for KeraTwin K15 / K18(clamp fastening)
6. Alternatively to the method described in item 5, or for thefastening of single panels, the terminal-clamp can also be
used. In this case, only the base plate of the KT clamp is fastened to the bearing profile in accordance with the vertical
grid. After the KeraTwin panel has been inserted, a separate
clamp lip can be pressed in the base plate and a lateral hole
of the KeraTwin panel.For further information, see the standard technical details of thesystem K15 / K18 which we will make available to you upon
request. Substructure 4. The next vertical row is carried out as described under item 3. 5. At the last row, the edge-clamps are fastened as describedunder item 1 so that the area can be completed. Two vertical
rows have to remain open. Two single-clamps are placed be-
tween two panels, one panel of the pair of panels is inserted
into the already mounted twin-clamps, the other panel into
the pre-assembled edge-clamp, pressed with the inserted
clamps to the bearing profile, adjusted in height, drilled and
fastened by means of stainless steel blind rivets. The mounting of the substructure must be carried out accordingto project-specific, static calculation. The profiles have to be
mounted perpendicularly and in a flush way. The distance of the
rails in horizontal direction must correspond to the longitudinal
grid of the panels. Important: aprofile butt joint of the vertical bearing profilesbehind a panel is not allowed! See standard technical detail
drawings. >
K15 / K18 with KT stainless steel clamps on vertical bearing profiles
Vertical rows are mounted. 1. The edge clamps are fastened to the bearing profile bymeans of stainless steel blind rivets* in accordance with the
vertical grid of the panels. 2. Four self-adhesive foamed pieces are used per panel. Mount-ing between panel and bearing profile. >
KeraTwin 3. The panel is put in pre-assembled KT clamps, a twin-clamp isinserted on the other side; adjustment in height, drilling and
fastening with stainless steel blind rivet. This process is repeated
in vertical direction. >
*Stainless steel blind rivet ø 3.2 x 8 mm with 58 mm grip. Use a mounting tool withextended mouthpiece!
