Mounting instructions for KeraTwin K15 / K18(fastening by means of adapters)

1. Push the adapter into the upper and lower groove of the panel. 2. Place hang-on strap and adapter spring AF into the mount-ingtongs. 3. 4. Hang-on strap with adapter spring AF in the mounting tongsis applied down on the adapter, the upper edge of the adapter is grasped with tongs, pressed and the hang-on strap is locked over the upper edge of the adapter. Four adapters are arranged per panel. 5. Hang the panels in the substructure. 6. Insert joint spacer F8 in the middle groove to secure the posi-tion of the panels. Substructure K15 / K18 on horizontal supporting rails The mounting of the substructure must be carried out accordingto project-specific, static calculation. The supporting rails are installed according to the vertical grid ofthe panels. After that, prepare the panels as described under “Mounting instructions for K18 / K15 Adaptation“, hang them in the supporting rails and align them. Important: aprofile butt joint of the vertical bearing profilesbehind a panel is not allowed! See standard technical detail drawings. System-conditioned substructure The installation of the K15 / K18 panels can be carried out bothonvertically arranged bearing profiles with prepunched holes and on horizontal supporting rails.
KeraTwin K15 / K18 on vertical T-shaped profile with prepunchedholes(20 x 20 mm) The profiles have to be mounted perpendicularly and in a flushway.The horizontal rails have to be precisely aligned with the punched holes. The distance of the rails in horizontal direction must correspond to the longitudinal grid of the panels.For further information, see the standard technical details of thesystem K15 / K18 which we will make available to you upon re- quest.
