Fastening KeraTwin K15 / K18 with invisible adapter fastening

The KeraTwin design panels of the systems K15 / K18 with dovetailgrooves on the back can be hung in prepunched vertical or horizontal bearing profiles by means of adapters. The invisible fastening of facades was developed for new buildings and reno- vation projects. KeraTwin System description The facade panels KeraTwin K15 / K18 have dovetail grooves onthe back into which at least four adapters per panel are pushed (symmetrical arrangement). A hang-on strap and a stainless steel spring are mounted on these adapters by means of a special tool. The KeraTwin panel is hung in prepunched vertical bearing profiles or in horizontally installed supporting rails with that. The horizontal supporting rails are precisely fastened on the vertical substructure by using distance jigs. The adapter with hang-on strap and the adapter spring are parts of the systems K15 / K18. The stainless steel springs inserted in the adapter serve for the nonrigid installation. A profile put in the grooves, which is adjusted to the joint width, secures the position of the panels.
Important: The use of silicone caoutchoucs must be absolutely avoided, because silicone fluids segregate and effect sticky surfaces on which dirt adheres. Therefore, only use the system components mentioned (foamed piece, EPDM rubber profile, neoprene rub- ber washer) and pointing, bonding and sealing materials recommended by us. We will be pleased to inform you in detail. The usual final cleaning after completion of the construction works is still required.
