Many people have concerns aboutbuying a tumble dryer due to their traditionally high energy consumption.The T59800 is the first A rated tumble dryer to take as little as 85 minutes to dry cottons. It uses a special ‘heat pump manufacturer’ technology which works like a refrigerator in reverse to achieve this unprecedented energy efficiency. The energy consumption is so low, it actually exceeds the requirements for an ‘A’ energy rating by 30%. So you get all the benefits of tumble drying for a much lower running cost. Our tumble dryers dry clothes like the outdoors, indoors, with a range of gentle programmes for unrivalled clothes care. AEG-Electrolux use advanced technology to develop programmes to care for all types of fabric. We have a special ‘leisure’ programme for thicker home fabrics, ideal for drying the seams of clothes such as jeans and fleeces. We also have special cycles with cool air and gentle tumbling so that even delicate fabrics such as wool and silk can be dried with confidence. The sensor dryer on all AEG-Electrolux tumble dryers and washer dryers gives you exceptional drying results and total control. Simply choose the required level of dryness on the rotary control from machine iron for slightly damp clothes to extra dry for ready- to-wear results. The machine will then sense when the clothes are dried to the level specified. You do not need to keep checking to see if your clothes are ready; the tumble dryer will do all the work.

3 DIGIT DISPLAY Home displays theprogramme home stage and its timeremaining. COOL DOWN Cool air is introduced atthe end of the cycle to minimisecreasing for easier ironing. EASY ACCESS FLUFF FILTER All modelscome with a fluff filter, which preventsany fluff or small items from entering the pump. It catches it all to ensure thepump is clear for effective drying.Accessible from the front of themachine, the fluff filter is easy to clean. CONDENSER DRYER Thiscondenses the moisture backinto water and fills a large selfsealed water container that can bepoured down the sink. This dryer can besituated anywhere in the home. SENSOR DRYER The user can select thelevel of dryness required from hand ironto cupboard dry and the dryer willsense when the clothes are dried to the level specified. CLEAN FILTER INDICATORS Indicateswhen the fluff filter needs cleaning inorder to ensure an efficient dryingprogramme. VENTED DRYER Warm, moist airis expelled from the machine via a venting kit. It is essential thatthis air is vented outside, therefore the appliance must be situated near anoutside wall. Vented dryers come with aventing kit consisting of a venting hose and connectors for the appliance andthe wall. WATER TANK FULL INDICATOR Thisindicates when the water tank is full.The dryer will not continue unless it has space to condense the water vapour into the tank. ENERGY RATING Indicates the amountof energy used. AEG-Electrolux tumble dryers are rated from A-C, with 'A' being the most economical. INTENSITY SETTING Three home step variableintensity that gives greater control andincreased drying performance. LARGE PORTHOLE The large 30cmportholes along with 165°door supplier opening makes AEG-Electrolux tumble dryers easy to load and unload. LOAD This icon indicates theload size possible. We have loadsizes of up to 7kg, so you canunload the home washing machine and dry the same load that has just been washed. MANUAL TIMER All models come with amanual timer to override the automaticsensors – putting you in control. REVERSE TUMBLE ACTION Loosensclothes as they dry to prevent tanglingand creasing.

MACHINE IRON (DAMP) Ideal for itemsthat need to be machine ironed, for example if you dry sheets with a rotary iron. It ensures that just enough moisture is left so that when ironed once, the sheet is dry. LEISURE PROGRAMME A special ‘leisure’programme for thicker fabrics, ideal for drying the seams of clothes such as jeans and fleeces. REFRESH PROGRAMME This programmeis perfect for freshening up clothes which have been in a cupboard for some time. HOME STORAGE DRY Ensures that the garmentsare thoroughly dried ready to store away. HAND IRON (DAMP) Ideal for items thatneed to be ironed. The programme leaves enough moisture in the fabric to make ironing much easier. EASY IRON Using reverse tumble and alow heat, clothes are dried with minimal creasing. EXTRA DRY Ideal for ready-to-weargarments or ready-to-use bedding.
